Practical workshop: Permaculture techniques and volunteer etiquette

We’re excited to announce that as part of our commitment to the Green Transition, we recently held a practical workshop called PERMAHAVEN: Permaculture Techniques and Volunteer Etiquette on Friday, May 5th, from 12:00 to 15:00. The workshop introduced the concept of permaculture and its techniques.

We’re incredibly grateful to all the participants who attended the workshop and contributed their valuable input to our Permahaven development. Despite the cold, windy weather, an international and interdisciplinary group of volunteers from both CBS and beyond came together to plant vegetables and wildflowers in our raised beds. It was truly heartwarming to see everyone’s dedication to our shared cause!

Permahaven at CBS Green Business Forum

We are delighted to share with you the incredible presentation given by Isabel Froes and Maribel Blasco at the Green Business Forum at CBS! Their talk focused on the vital role of sustainable gardening in a business school context, and it was truly inspiring to see the holistic perspectives of permaculture thinking being applied to the world of green business.

At CBS, we believe that everyone can make a positive contribution to our planet, and that’s why we are thrilled to welcome you to our very own Permahave. Here, you can roll up your sleeves, get your fingers in the soil, and engage in a dialogue about design principles and practical strategies that can help us all to improve our relationship with the earth, ourselves, and each other.

The session took place outside Kilen, in the heart of our very own Permahave. This incredible space is where we are unfolding the concept of permaculture.

First Workshop

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the first practical workshop on Saturday, April 15th was beyond amazing! It was incredibly inspiring and productive, and we couldn’t have done it without the collaborative effort of the Permahaven team and Climate Club, along with the amazing support from FRB commune, CBS Management and all volunteers.

Our sincerest gratitude goes out to all the participants who attended the Workshop Day and contributed their incredible input to our Permahaven development. We are happy to announce that all flower bulbs, plants, and seeds are now planted, thanks to your hard work and dedication! Thank you so much for joining our team of nature-loving people .

This event was an amazing opportunity to experience sustainability theory in practice and learn about the incredible world of permaculture principles and how to apply them. We are beyond excited to see the impact this workshop will have on our community and our environment.

Launch Day

The successful Launch Day of Permahaven took place on Monday, March 27th, at CBS Klein. The event was a collaborative effort between the Permahaven team and Climate Club, and we were delighted to receive tremendous support from FRB kommune, Torvekøkkenet, CBS Management & Campus Services, Andelsboligforening, and Daniel Serop. 

The Launch Day was a fantastic opportunity for participants to engage in lively discussions and presentations on various topics, such as Regenerating Learning, concrete Permaculture Practices, and alternative ways of thinking for ‘Green Business’. The attendees were enthusiastic and participated actively in the event. 

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the participants who managed to attend the Launch Day. Your presence and active participation made the event a great success. We are excited to announce that the next workshop day will take place on April 15th, from 11.00 to 15.00, and we look forward to seeing you all there!
