One of the objectives for creating Permahaven, was to bridge the advantages of Permaculture thinking onto students’ business knowledge. Now, students are able to partake in Permahaven activities and get Student Citizenship Points. Besides facilitating academic add-ons to their current business knowledge, Permahaven is a space for students to connect with nature and find peace in their busy student lives. The activities in Permahaven should not be perceived as working activities. It should be perceived as peaceful pauses of relaxation and connection to something more than human.
As a student volunteer at Permahaven, you will need to commit yourself for at least a period of 12 months to obtain your student citizenship points. To start your participation as a student volunteer, you will have to join an introductory session. We are having two sessions during Fall and two sessions during Spring. At the end of this introductory session, you will be assigned to one or more responsibility groups depending on your interests and skills. With support from the current Permahaven volunteer team, your group will be tasked with championing your area of responsibility for the coming year. Of course, with room for changes and flexibility.
In order to register as a student volunteer at Permahaven, please send an email to info.permahaven@cbs.dk
