Permahaven’ is a permaculture garden in the heart of Frederiksberg.

Permahaven is coordinated by CBS staff and student volunteers but is open to everyone and we warmly invite local residents to take part in our activities or just enjoy the garden area 🙂

The garden serves as a hub for learning and sharing knowledge about sustainability, together.

We are working with Frederiksberg Municipality to make sure that Permahaven supports the municipal Biodiversity Strategy.

We will all use permaculture techniques to care for the garden and its participants. Both volunteers and interested public can learn about permaculture at our Permahaven workshops and other learning events, which we will announce on our Event page

BOX:

What is permaculture?

‘Permaculture’ is a set of regenerative design ethics and principles organized around three overarching ethics –

PEOPLE CARE, EARTH CARE, and FAIR SHARE.

If you find this interesting and want to get involved, you can sign up to volunteer at Permahaven – on the project webpage here .

Volunteers can take part in, and suggest, Permahaven events. We are very open to ideas for activities, and to feedback from volunteers and local residents for how to develop the garden. We are really looking forward to meeting you!
