CBS Permahaven Featured at Aurora International Peace Conference

We are thrilled to share that CBS Permahaven will be featured at the Aurora International Peace Conference:“The Role of Higher Education in Peacebuilding”,17 – 21 February 2025, Universität Innsbruck

Our presentation “Community Urban Gardens: Spaces for Sustainability Education and Peacebuilding,” Albina Dioba, Maribel Blasco, and Isabel Fróes is delivered by Albina Dioba.

Highlights from the Master Elective ‘Organizing for Desirable Futures’ at Permahaven

We are pleased to present the outcomes of Maribel Blasco’s Master elective, Organizing for Desirable Futures, recently taught with great success. The course concluded with insightful student presentations that sparked meaningful discussions on envisioning and working toward sustainable, desirable futures.

Visit from Aurora Universities Delegation at Permahaven!

On October 11, we had the pleasure of hosting a wonderful delegation from Karazin University, Ukraine, as part of the Aurora Universities Network staff exchange program. It was a fantastic day filled with inspiring discussions and hands-on experiences as we introduced them to the core principles of Permahaven.

The visit allowed us to share our vision of sustainability, permaculture, and community-driven solutions, sparking fresh ideas and perspectives on how these concepts can be integrated into their work and the broader Aurora network. We were thrilled to see their enthusiasm and look forward to strengthening collaborations within the Aurora Universities Network!
