Bulb planting – the begining of new season

aldi.msc@cbs.dk · 12/04/2024 ·

What a joy it is to be back at Permahave and kickstart a new season! Despite the less-than-perfect weather, we had an absolute blast and cherished every moment of cultivating biodiversity within our community. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the wonderful participants who joined us today.

Special shoutout to Lavinia for bringing in more plants to Permahaven, including the incredible bean plant grown from seeds collected last year – simply amazing! Big applause to Isabella for joining us for the first time and inspiring us to keep planting, rain or shine. And of course, a massive thank you to CBS Climate Club for their unwavering support and the delicious refreshments they provided.

Can’t wait to see everyone again next week at the Green Business Forum CBS on the 17th of April, 09:00 – 10:30.

aldi.msc@cbs.dk · 05/03/2024 ·

We are pleased to announce that the Permahaven team recently participated in the 3rd PRME Nordic Chapter Responsible Management Education Symposium with great success!

Maribel Blasco and Isabel Fróes delivered an engaging presentation on Permaculture Design Framework tools for Responsible Management Education (UN-PRME), showcasing innovative approaches to sustainability education for business students.

Additionally, Albina Dioba presented compelling insights from her study, conducted in collaboration with esteemed colleagues V. Kroker, S. Dewite, and F. Lange from KU Leuven University, Belgium. Together, they conducted a Rapid review of qualitative research on barriers to pro-environmental behavior change.

These achievements underscore the significant impact of our work in fostering a more sustainable future 🌱

Brazilian Permaculture Experience with Diogo Vallim, 22.02.2024

aldi.msc@cbs.dk · 23/02/2024 ·

A huge thank you from the Permahaven Team to Diogo Vallim for a wonderful and informative presentation yesterday about his experiences working at permaculture ecovillages in Brazil. The event was also well attended 🙂 I learned a lot, and got inspired regarding things we could do to further develop Permahaven. Especially our ‘water feature’ 🙂💦

You can find the slides from Diogo’s presentation later here.

If other participants would like to tell us about their experiences with permaculture or similar, please let us know! 💚

Collaboration between Permahaven and Malmø University

aldi.msc@cbs.dk · 05/02/2024 ·

We are thrilled to announce a collaborative project between a group of students enrolled in the Master in Interaction Design program at Malmø University and the Permahaven.

Associate Professor Anne-Marie Skriver Hansen, a dedicated volunteer at Permahaven, reached out to us with a proposal. Her Master course in Relational Design at Malmø University focuses on sustainable human and more-than-human relationships, and she saw the potential for Permahaven to be an inspiring case for her students. We were honored to accept this opportunity to collaborate.

The journey began with an insightful online seminar where we shared the background of Permahaven and presented the communication challenges we are working on. The students, eager to dive into real-world scenarios, conducted interviews with our team, visited Permahaven in Frederiksberg, and distributed questionnaires among our dedicated volunteers and other stakeholders.

The interdisciplinary collaboration between Permahaven and Malmø University’s Master in Interaction Design students has been both inspiring and promising. We are eagerly anticipating the creative solutions that will emerge from this partnership. Stay tuned for updates on the progress of this exciting project!

Thank you to Associate Professor Anne-Marie Skriver Hansen and the talented students for their dedication and enthusiasm.

Watch this space for further developments! 🌿
